“Why is Daddy shaking?” is a wonderful book about Parkinson’s disease.
The wonderful is that it’s a CHILDREN’S BOOK! It’s written by “Daddy” himself (Mats Larsson) who was diagnosed having PD at the age of 28.
What Mats did before he wrote this book was that he studied his kids and their friends. He leant how they communicated, what they was most interested of etc.
That’s how this excellent book was started!
Thanks to that IMasterParkinson have the honour of market and sell this little great book on Internet, all over the world.
I am convinced it will be a success like the Swedish edision was a couple of years ago.
Text from page 30 in the book:
”Ladies, I think you are champion shirt-buttoners,”
he said once.
”You are a reall champion yourself,” Mommy said.
Now, maybe you think that my Daddycan’t take
part in anything without us. But that’s completely wrong.
It’s just that everything takes a little longer. Daddy
usually says we’ve got to wait a bit tillhis medicine
works. But then! Then you’ll see a Daddy-and-a-half,
look out! When the medicine works, Daddy is like any
other daddy. It just goes a little slower, if you get what
I mean.
