Reader’s review
This is a well written and interesting book that can help us reach a higher quality of life!
I give it my best recommendations!
The book Birgit Saehl, Denmark, gives her best recommendations is the success story: ”I have Parkinson’s, but Parkinson’s does not have me!” by Leif Ogard.
She wrote:
Here we have a book, which you get something out of, if you want it yourself. If you have the will this book can help you to get a higher quality of life.
It is a book built on the experiences the author has done during the 20 years he has lived with the diagnose PD. Step by step ha has made his findings and set up new goals for his life.
It “takes its man” and it demands self discipline, but it helps! The authors final words are: “If I can do it, so can you!”
There are a lot of examples how he found out all the important things about medicine, nutrition, physical and mental training etc. Even how he found out how to influence on his own production of dopamine!
There are hope, faith and trust to take out of the book. Heavy messages are: positive thinking, look for the possibilities, stay active and believe in you.
Yes, there’s a lot to take out of this well written and interesting book! I give it my best recommendations as it is:
- A good book to read and to own. The last because then you always can go back to the book and check on the guidelines from the author! (Active Self Cure)
- A good book to read and to discuss in a group. (page 149 to 163- “Advice for Support groups!”)
- A good book to read if you need to come forward in your life.
- A good book to read because it inspires and gives hope.
