GEM status on Newsletter issue 2
Feedback from Canada – Gem status
Just wanted to tell you that your latest Newsletter is a gem. Really enjoyed reading it and you expressed your feelings so well. Thank you for sharing. Very nice photos.
Your book “I have Parkinson’s, but Parkinson’s doesnot have me!” is excellent too, I keep reading it and reading it, always referring to certain pages, etc, marking it in so many places and so on. I thought I would ask the clinic I go to if they could put a complementary book in the waiting room for the patients to read and maybe place orders for the book
Going to the clinic now for my exercises. Will write again soon, take care and keep well,

Feedback from Australia – Best book!
Hi Leif
I received your inspirational book ”I have Parkinson’s, but…” on Feb.1st and took it to a PD Support Group the next day. A number of people showed an interest in your book and you should get a number of hits on your web site. I hope you get more sales of your book from Queensland.
I have read four books by Americans with PD and I consider your book to be the best and most inspirational of the five books. I will continue to take your book and contact details to our monthly support group because Parkinsons people need to believe they can master their circumstances and lead a happy and contented life. Thanks so very much for having written this excellent book. Loved the cartoon of the flying penguin.
Fond regards Dennis Dowling

Feedback from South Africa – Helpful ideas!Thank you ! I have found your newsletter and your book most helpful,
I have had PD for 4 years, and still very well controlled and very hopeful of a good future. We don’t do ski-ing in our country as there is no snow, but I am determined to carry on with my activities for a long time still. I found your idea of Mr Parkinson the uninvited guest with whom I co-habit, rather than the usual idea of Parkinson’s, a disease which controls me, most helpful.
kind regards
Wendy McLachlan, from Cape Town South Africa,
