Grandchildren show us the future
Amazing observations
I have done some pretty amazing observations when I were together with my grandchildren. At all these occasions we were using some kind of modern electronic device like a mobile phone, a portable computer or some sort of appliance for games.

“Why is daddy shaking” the children’s book helping families with PD to communicate over the generation gap
(Scanned picture showing page 30 and 31 of the children’s book about Parkinson’s disease. The scanned text isn’t easy to read. Hence we have written it for you again. Please see added text in the end of this article. )
“Why is Daddy shaking?” is a wonderful book about Parkinson’s disease.
The wonderful is that it’s a CHILDREN’S BOOK! It’s written by “Daddy” himself (Mats Larsson) who was diagnosed having PD at the age of 28.
What Mats did before he wrote this book was that he studied his kids and their friends. He leant how they communicated, what they was most interested of etc.
That’s how this excellent book was started!
Thanks to that IMasterParkinson have the honour of market and sell this little great book on Internet, all over the world.
I am convinced it will be a success like the Swedish edision was a couple of years ago.
Text from page 30 in the book:
”Ladies, I think you are champion shirt-buttoners,”
he said once.
”You are a reall champion yourself,” Mommy said.
Now, maybe you think that my Daddycan’t take
part in anything without us. But that’s completely wrong.
It’s just that everything takes a little longer. Daddy
usually says we’ve got to wait a bit tillhis medicine
works. But then! Then you’ll see a Daddy-and-a-half,
look out! When the medicine works, Daddy is like any
other daddy. It just goes a little slower, if you get what
I mean.

The MasterParkinson Newsletter, Issue 2, was distributed to its subscribers this morning, Monday 7th February.
The article below is an excerpt from the Newsletter.
An overwhelming majority of us, human beings, use in most of the cases only a tiny part of our physical and mental resources.
And I am talking of really small a part. In most cases it’s lower then 5—10 % of potential capability.
One major reason is the limitations we have programmed ourselves to believe in. When you for example tell yourselves ”No, it’s not possible! Then you follow these programmes
Let me remind you about the old ”truth” called the self-fulfilling prophecy! (and also ”The Pygmalion effect”)

Eagerly awaited – a children’s book about Parkinson’s disease
From the back cover of the book:
”Traditional the grownups try to explain to the younger using grown up language. Mostly with poor result. In this book the author do it on the contrary. We follow the children and as we see through their eyes we can in a unique way share the same reality. The text and the illustrative pictures show how they experienced the first time with a dad who is, or at least behaves differently.
